Green Goals

The Green Project will promote greener lifestyles in recycling, water conservation, energy consumption and development through the following components:

Research – A survey of awareness and the landscape of green initiatives among the Sioux Falls community will provide a scale for establishing measurable goals and gauging success.

Community Awareness – Through community outreach, public events and public service announcements, the Green Project will provide information on environmental concerns and what it means for Sioux Falls.

Education – Through e-newsletters, programs and tools for schools, businesses and homes and an online community to share tips and success stories, the Green Project will inform residents of simple lifestyle changes they can incorporate to make a difference.

Reporting – To share progress over the span of the campaign, the Green Project will track results and send regular updates to participants.
